My clients often ask me what they should do to prepare for their upcoming photoshoot. Here are some tricks to help you prepare:
HAIR: If your planning to get your hair cut for your shoot, I would recommend you do this 1-2 weeks before your session. This will give you time to get use to your new look and make any adjustments that you might need.
Lips: Condition your lips for a few days before the shoot with lip balm; this will give your lips the nourishment it needs before you apply your lip-gloss or lipstick. Remember to also bring your lip-gloss or lipstick to the shoot for touch-ups.
Teeth: If you looking to brighten those pearly whites get started 2-3 weeks prior to the shoot.
Moisturizer: To avoid dry skin, use a moisturizer that works best for your skin type. During the winter months our skin tends to be extra dry so applying a moisturizer will help reduce dryness.
Nails: A fresh coat of nail polish is a great way to show off your hands. Try to choose a colour that won't distract from the shoot, a nice neutral shade works best.
Clothing: Clients always worry about what to wear. Generally I ask clients to stay away from too many prints. Solid colours work best, choose a few outfits that are your favourite and don't forget to bring scarves and jackets that we can use to change the look of an outfit.
Shoes: Flats and Heels! Ladies need I say more..... WE LOVE SHOES
